The Countstar® FL is an image-based fluorescence cell analyzer. In addition to brightfield imaging, the system offers you the possibility to determine up to 4 fluorescence channels of 5 samples simultaneously. With its 13 possible combinations of excitation wavelengths and detection filters, the Countstar® FL supports the majority of all fluorophores available on the market. This enables the Countstar® FL to cover a wide range of applications from fluorescence viability determination, apoptosis assays, transfection efficiency assays to CD marker recognition and cell cycle experiments, for which previously only a complex flow cytometer provided the results. The permanently stored images also increase the validity of the analysis results obtained. The maintenance-free technology with its all-in-one design massively reduces the operating costs for this type of measurement and ensures maximum flexibility.
