The mylab NIR spectrometer


The mylab NIR spectrometer is a compact, high-performance system for the rapid detection of ingredients in solid, paste-like and liquid media. Within less than 2 seconds, a sample is analyzed non-destructively both qualitatively and quantitatively for various parameters. This robust measuring device is therefore a time and cost-saving alternative to a variety of analytical wet-chemical methods.

The mylab NIR spectrometer offers an attractive price-performance ratio with professional performance in near-infrared spectroscopy. Developed and produced in Germany under ISO 9001:2015 quality standard.

The NIR spectrometer mylab MEAT enables fast, precise and non-destructive quality control of meat and sausage products. Applications range from raw material testing, recipe control and product development to quality assurance of end products.

Pre-calibrated analysis parameters for sausage and meat products

The mylab MEAT NIR spectrometer is pre-calibrated for the quality control of minced or homogenized fresh meat as well as raw, scalded and cooked sausage from beef and pork.

The following provisions are implemented:

  • Nutritional values (BIG 7) in accordance with EU Regulation 1169/2011: calorific value in kJ and kcal, fat, saturated fatty acids,
    Carbohydrates, of which sugar, protein, fat
  • Dry matter, organic dry matter, water, extraneous water, ash
  • Fat-protein quotient, water-protein quotient
  • BEFFE (connective tissue protein) and BEFFE in the FE
  • pH value, aw value
  • Hydroxyproline

The mylab DIARY NIR spectrometer

The mylab DIARY NIR spectrometer enables fast, precise and non-destructive quality control of milk and cheese products. The powerful but very compact device is ideal for use in incoming goods, production and outgoing goods.

The mylab NIR Analyzer DIARY is calibrated for products such as cheese, butter, dairy cream, sweet whey concentrate, milk and mozzarella.

The mylab CF (Custom Fit) is a universally adaptable NIR spectrometer.

The compact but powerful NIR spectrometer enables fast, accurate and non-destructive analysis of the composition and structure of solid, liquid and paste-like organic samples. Like all mylab NIR analyzers, the device is very robust and easy to use.

To use the device, we create customized chemometric models with our partner to determine the required parameters.
